Drumstick Curry

Ingredients

4 drum sticks
1\4 cup grated coconut
5-6 Red  chillies
a pinch of turmeric
1\2 tsp. cumin seeds
½  Sambar powder
1\4 tsp. tuvar dal
Tarmind juice
1\4 tsp. mustard seeds
5 curry leaves
2 tbsp. oil
salt to taste


Method

First cut the drumstick into pieces. Then put it in a pressure cooker along with the tuvar dal and a cup of water. Steam for 15 minutes. Grind the coconut, Red chillies, turmeric sambar powder and cumin seeds into a fine powder. In another vessel boil the dal  drumstick and add salt as well as the masala and tarmind juice

For the seasoning, take hot oil in a ladle and splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves in it and pour over the curry. Serve hot with rice
