Ingredients
1 cup Rice (cooked)
1/2 cup tamarind juice
1 tbsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Urad dal
1 tsp Chana dal
2 red chillies
pinch of asfoetida
1/2 tsp tumeric powder
1/2 tsp red chillies
1/2 tsp ginger (nicely chopped)
curry leaves
little salt to taste
2 tbsp oil-
1 onion (nicely chopped)
Directions
Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds (let it crackle).
then add red chillies, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves stir fry till it turns it colour
To that add onion, ginger let it fry for a minute
Then add all the ingredients and lower the heat
When this becomes thick gravy; add rice & mix it well.
serve it
